Passage: 1 Corinthians 9:27

" The price of leadership ; Living a disciplined life " by Bishop Jack Barnett
The main scripture for the text: 1st Corinthians 9:27
The focus of this message is:

1. If you’re not willing to pay the price of leadership you’re not ready to lead
2. Leadership demands the giving of one’s self to others your time is not your own
3. Leadership requires discipline. Discipline meaning a state of order based on submission to God’s word and His authority
4. A leader must be able to keep their body under subjection, they cannot walk in the flesh and effectively lead God’s people. Leaders who walk in the flesh are considered carnal Christians.
5. A carnal Christian is one who is born again but does not discipline the body to be in accordance with the word of God
6. A carnal Christian is lead by the flesh, sows to the flesh and identifies more with the world than the kingdom of God
7. God is looking for men and women willing to pay the price in the Spirit
