Work While It Is Day

Why sit we here until we die? (2 Kings 7:3-4) That’s the question the 4 lepers asked in the face of famine, hunger and certain death. But they made a decision to be proactive and not allow life to just "happen" to them. So they got up and moved out, and not only found enough food to sustain them but more than enough to feed a whole city!

How long will you sit before you get up, obey God’s nudging, and move in your purpose? Tomorrow is not promised. James describes man’s existence as but a vapour that appears for a little time, then vanishes (James 4:14). Don’t waste life’s precious moments. Move out and impact someone with the message of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

As Christians, we have been given the mandate to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature (Mark 16:15).One bible translation says, "As you go into all the world, proclaim the gospel to everyone.", while another version says, "So wherever you go in the world, tell everyone the Good News."  So the directive is pretty clear. We need to be about our Kingdom business of witnessing and proclaiming the Good News to every creature. Now is not the time to grow weary in well doing. But now is the time to win souls for the Kingdom and flow in your God-given purpose!
